My family has severe allergies and I bought this because I had good luck with the A350. It's not too big, quiet, looks good and it works. It's also pretty easy to change the filter. The filters get so gross I don't want to touch them, but the easy change makes it so I don't have too. I bought another Paralda air purifier for my husbands' office and everyone thinks it looks like something made by Mac. It's more green in color than it looks in the picture - at least on my computer. I like the color but it's a little different than I thought.

At the recommendation of my sister, who has bought the Paralda first - we purchased the air purifier for our home. My mother suffers from asthma and terrible allergies and lives with us - so anything we can do to make her more comfortable is worth it.
The Paralda is long and slender yet compact - it easily fit in our living room and didn't stick out like a sore thumb. It is very quiet and has varying speeds. It also had a UV lamp that zaps bacteria - and anything the HEPA air filter doesn't get. I noticed the air seemed fresher and there was less dust on the furniture. It felt like the pristine air you usually find in the dentist office - fresh, cleaner, very comfortable. The Paralda is not noisy at all compared to our Ionic Breeze air purifier we used to keep in my mother's bedroom. The control pad was very easy to figure out - even my mother could manage it on her own.
We have had the Paralda for several weeks now - and my mother seems to have more energy from sleeping better as a result of our cleaner air - which makes the price, to me, completely worth it. I must also mention - we run the Paralda all the time - and we have seem no marked increase in our electric bill ... it is a Energy Star rated appliance - and every little bit of savings helps us nowadays. I'd highly recommend this unit.

I bought this based on other reviews. I use it primarily to cleanse the air in a one smoker household (1/2 pack a day). If you are purchasing this for that reason you may want to reconsider; even after leaving this unit on overnight there was still a heavy haze in the air. I don't know how it works for people with allergies, but for smoke it is less than adequate in its task.
Now the concept of cleansing with water is very cool. It is a noisy little unit and can take some getting used to. With time I'm sure I will consider it "white noise" but in the meantime it is somewhat annoying.

We got one of these and three of the other air purifier -- the one that is topped with a green leaf. The plastic bottoms are interchangeable even though they are austensibly different products from different manufacturers -- one from Thermax and one from Harmony House.
We traded in our HEPA Silent Comfort air purifier because it is noisy and, while it works, doesn't cleanse the air sufficiently of cigarette smoke. We bought two of these to try in our 3,500 square foot house and immediately decided to buy two more. It's remarkably quiet and sitting two yards from a person smoking, I can't smell the cigarette.
In addition to a reduction in allergy symptoms -- red eyes and runny noses, we've noticed the increase in humidity has reduced the natural dryness that comes from living in the desert. We're still waiting, wondering and hoping we'll notice a reduction in the need to dust. It seems logical that these air purifiers would also trap the desert dust from the air.
This is a great product and we're very glad we tried it.
New Information:
We've had the purifiers almost a month. We noticed buildup under the hood from the water. It isn't easy to clean because the top -- the area where all the electronics are -- doesn't come apart. There doesn't appear any easy way to clean the hard water spots.
I wrote to the manufacture to ask if there a way to disassemble the purifier to clean the top.

My sister-in-law had purchased one of these when I was on vacation and I fell in love with it. I wasn't crazy about the leave design so when I found this seashell, I just had to have it. I can barely hear it, soothing to watch the water. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating. Don't like the scent it came with. The product is wonderful though!!!

I have 2 of these "3 and 1 air freshners" manufactured by Harmony House. They really work fast and clear the air. I suffer from allegies and find that they work just as well or better than the larger and more expensive hepa filters that I have. The aromatherapy is better than the other brands of water filtered air purifiers. It uses natural tea tree oil to disinfect the water, so the mist is cleaner and more sanitary too. The aromatherapy is more expensive than the competitors' oils, but Harmony House's product is better. If you compare it to real aromatherapy oils, it does not seem so expensive. Apples to apples it is a better product. I dump the water when it gets cloudy after a day or two. I like the quiet noise. I have one in my bedroom and another in my home office. I would give the unit a perfect rating except that I am skeptical about its ability to humidify a dry room I haven't used it for that yet in extreme conditions, which will likely be upon us here in NY soon, when the outdoor temps drop below freezing. The reservoir seems too small to make an impact, but, I will say that I have not been uncomfortable and dry in the rooms where it has been in use. I read reviews of similar products from other manufacturers and Harmony House's unit does not leak or leave water marks. It seems to be a better unit, although I have not used the others at all.

I bought this about a week ago and it works well; we keep it in our living room. The water spins around and somehow purifies the air. The humidifier also works well. My complaints are that it's noisy and the scent is very expensive ($30 plus for 4 small vials) and only comes in a few scents.
Somewhere I read you can put in pure essence oils but it will stain the reservoir.
After putting the purifier in another room to see how well it works there, I have noticed the air in the living room is dryer and there is a slight smell of our large dog.
If it passes the "basement room test" I'm going to purchase another one.

I like the purifier. But, why isn't this thin piece of flimsy metal included with the $550 product for which it is intended?

By H. Chen (Seattle, WA USA)
This is just a cheap piece of metal plate, pretty thin and feels flimsy. It's also not very wide, I wasn't able to find 2 studs that were close enough to properly mount this and when I screwed it onto a single stud with the center 2 holes, the sides bend away from the wall a bit when the Rabbit Air is hung. I had to improvise and screw the plate onto a 5-ply piece of wood and then mounted the wood+plate onto a single stud. Seems secure now...

By N. Cody (San Francisco, CA USA)
Amazon keeps listing it as something I should review so here it is:
This is a bracket. It holds the purifier to the wall. It is a little lame they charge for a simple bent piece of metal. It does what it should as the purifier has yet to fall off the wall.

I've had this thing running for a couple of days now, and it does work very well. I checked it using a green laser pointer, which brightly illuminates tiny particles in the air along the length of the beam. When moved across the output vent of the MinusA2 the beam becomes almost invisible, so I have no doubts it's doing it's job.
It is very quiet on the low settings, though I wouldn't go so far as to call it silent, there is a quiet steady tone emitted but it's not too bothersome unless you're close to it. I would certainly prefer if it were only the white noise of the air movement that was audible, though.

Edit:
As part of my review I had previously mentioned the fact that this purifier was taking a disliking to my humidifier. I've done some further research and testing and found that it was the fault of my humidifier. It turns out that ultrasonic humidifiers inject a really nasty volume of particulate matter into the air while they run and so the MinusA2 was constantly having to filter it. This, again, was easily verifiable with my green laser pointer. I've switched to warm mist humidifiers (that simply boil/evaporate the water) and no more issues, the two live happily side-by-side.
So: DO NOT use an ultrasonic humidifier in conjunction with this purifier. In fact, based on the volume of particles they throw into the air, I'd seriously recommend against ultrasonic humidifiers in general.
I've had the MinusA2 running steady for weeks now and it's still doing it's job extremely well.

Attractive unit. I presently have it on an end table in my finished basement. It is certainly quiet and appears to be well constructed. Is it doing what it's supposed to do? I'm not sure how to tell, exactly, except to check the filters after it's been running a while.
